Accommodations

Limited primitive camping (no power, no potable water, etc.) is available at the Start/Finish area on a first come, first served basis. Please, tent camping or pickup campers at the start/finish area only.  Due to limited space, we do not allow any RV’s, tow behind campers, or tow behind trailers of any kind on the road up to the trailhead (Forest Service Road 4014, last 1.6 miles up to the start/finish area).

Alhambra RV Park is conveniently located off the I-15 exit at Clancy, Montana (515 State Highway 282) and approximately 7 miles from the Elkhorn Start/Finish area (via Warm Springs Creek Road). Alhambra RV Park offers everything you’d expect from a State Park campground along with all the amenities you would expect from a full service campground, including full hook-up RV sites, standard camper sites with water and electric, and tent sites, all with free WiFi.  Especially nice for dirty and tired runners are bathrooms, and new shower and laundry facilities, plus a nice creek for those tired race legs. For Elkhorn runners, sites are $25, tax included, for one night and $20, tax included, for additional nights.  They are busy during the summer months and space is limited, so make your reservations early. Due to space limitations and road conditions, race management does not allow any tow behind units or RV’s at the start/finish area. Alhambra RV Park is the only full service campground near the HURL Elkhorn start/finish. Contact them today so you aren’t worried about finding a place to rest and recover before and after your race.
